Does anyone have a contact person for the Baldwin Diesel in storage on the old Loring A.F.B. property in Limestone, Maine? My understanding is it is owned by a private individual who want to see it preserved. If you have factual contact information, please PM me. If you have any lead information, place it in this thread.

Thank you.

The last time we checked this at MMA was ten years ago. It was then owned by the Loring Commerce Center. http://loring.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Our Manager of Locomotives inspected it and said it was in "OK" condition with a layover heater system and some frayed insulation, but it was dead and drained and could not be started.
