With this discussion of the North Coast Hiawatha possibly being restored and with some debating it being ran by Amtrak, could it be possible for Montana Rail Link to run this line at least as a regional from Sandpoint to Billings? Or at least Montana Rail Link running some regular passenger service somewhere within its system? Either as regional or even mixed trains in some areas.

There's no substantive talk about restoring the NCH. There's occasional discussion but no real movement. If it were to ever reach critical mass, which I doubt, I would expect that any operation would have to be state funded, and not on private account. This is not Miami to Orlando to Tampa. Move on.
