The LA&L is thought to own & operate a 1963-built Alco Century 420, the Long Island Rail Road being the original operator. Is it the former LIRR #200 or #221 ???? Thanks.

Originally LIRR #200.
she's still in regular use by the LAL! :)
she often does the daily run between Lakeville NY and the CSX interchange in the Town of Chili, NY (just south of the Rochester airport)

420 has been with the LAL since 1995, 25 years next year. almost half her life!

I believe Atlas offered a model of it in HO. I saw this engine a lot (usually teamed with #425) in Rochester when I attended RIT from 2000 to 2004. I assume the numbering of both engines is based on their Alco model designations.

I would love to find that Atlas model of this engine.
