The original Atlantic City terminal

How big was the original Atlantic City terminal? How many tracks did it have? Was it a nicer sight than the current AC Rail Terminal?

Original C&A terminal 1854, was at Atlantic and South Carolina Avenues (later WS&S [PRR] five track terminal,and a smaller loop "Hotel Station" at Caspian and Maine Ave's. The Philadelphia and Atlantic City [RDG] had around the turn of the century, an eleven track terminal on Atlantic Ave between Missouri and Arkansas. Atlantic City's Union Station (and bus depot) opened at Arctic & Arkansas in 1934. Torn down in 2001.
