George, thanks for confirming that there are tracks still at the plant site entrance. Probably all that would need to be done would be to clear the debris, overgrowth, replace rotten ties, new ballast, and remove asphalt from road crossings if the branch were to reopen. A probable additional third to half of a mile of additional track would need to be laid to Sunset Beach if service for tourists were to be established. If the CMSL ever gets back into operation into Cape May, everyone ought to push for this branch to reopen to relieve the traffic congestion each evening at Sunset Beach.
