The West Jersey NRHS history of the branch from Haddonfield to Medford mentions that the last passenger service in the late 1920s used a railcar called the "Meadow Mouse" because it came from Stone Harbor service. Did it get its name from the PRR's island hopping Sea Isle City to Stone Harbour run, or the Stone Harbor RR's Cape May Court House to Stone Harbor line, which may have had more salt marsh meadows? (The SHRR connected with the Rdg. at Cape May Court House.)
