It seems that the site lost steam when converted over. We lost all the previous posts. Maybe if everyone reposted their interests again, we could get it going.
I grew up along the Millville line in the 50's and model this area in N scale.

As a kid in Westmont, I played on and near the PRR between Cooper River and Maple Ave. All the trains that I remember were PRSL trains from Philly to Haddonfield and shore points.

I played on and under the trestle over Cooper River, subsequently replaced by this bridge

and on and under the Maple Avenue bridge, seen here:

The Maple Ave bridge has since been replaced.

I never saw a freight train along those PRR tracks; only passenger trains pulled by PRR and Reading steam engines, until some Baldwin diesels started to appear.

Bob--Do you have some pictures of the new bridge at Maple Avenue Hadddonfield. I was there last June and there was still a lot to complete.--Thanks

I didn't, David, so I made a little detour on my way home from work today and got one. I've been very busy lately - lots of things that I havent done!

It's a very good-looking bridge.

Great Picture, Bob--Thanks--Is that bridge designed for a double track if need be?
