New York Penn Station LIRR concourse

What did the LIRR concourse look like in the original Penn Station? I've seen plenty of photos of the original main concourse but none of the LIRR concourse.

My vague recollection is that it wasn't much different than it is today. Always had the feeling that you were in somebody's basement; low ceilings, and kind of a "crushed-in" feel compared to the airy spaciousness above.
