I have 20 P-70 coach kits circa 1955 or so. I want to assemble them in the BranchLine mode. That is with complete interior detail.
Does anyone know what the interior colors were. Floors, walls, ceiling and seats especially.
I have heard that the seats were Burgandy. I rode these cars on the "Clockers" from Philly to NY in the forties and fifties many, many times but didn't take note of the decor. Silly me.
Also what were the colors inside and out of the winndow shades.
I am planning to use these on my HO layout as they were included in Washington to Boston through trains on the New Haven Railroad in the fifties.
Were they gold striped in that era?
Need all the help I can get.
