Do any contributors to the forum have the correct identities of the eight GMA "standardization" tugs which are owned by Crescent Towing, working in Gulf Coast ports? I believe that five of the eight are former PRR tugs, their Crescent Towing names being the NED FERRY, the GLEN SMITH, the MISSISSIPPI, the MARGARET F. COOPER, and the G. SHELBY FRIEDRICHS. I think I recall seeing that the NED FERRY is the former PITTSBURGH. These and their three other "standardization" tugs are being extensively rebuilt by Bollinger Shipyards, the modified tugs are very different in appearance from their railroad days.
