Anybody know how old the current design for the Hudson Line Signal System is? I know Conrail put in cab signals based on the then-existing block lengths in 1982, but when were those block lengths determined?

(I am also cross-posting this on the New York Central and Conrail forums)

Thanks for any help you can provide.

IIRC this was done in the 60's by the NYC, from Peekskill-CP-40 to Albany, north of Garrison-CP-48 was double tracked at this time, I think they are 2 mile blocks, been a long time since I ran that division.
