Here’s the abandoned Michigan Central Bridge crossing from the US to Canada. Amtrak’s Maple Leaf uses the Whirlpool Bridge on the left but Amtrak did use the old MC/NYC Bridge in the late 1970’s......the Niagara Rainbow to Detroit. The old right-of-way continued through Niagara Falls, Ontario and is now a walking trail but there are still nostalgic reminders of its history.

This was once the location of the Michigan Central/New York Central Station at the top of the now very touristy Clifton Hill/Centre St @ Victoria Ave.
