This website has much about both the Erie and DL&W, but of most interest to me is this particular webpage;

It is a set of photographs taken by Clyde Baker in the early 1950's right before the Erie moved it's mainline from the south side of Corning NY to parallel to the DL&W on the north side. His focus was on the yard area which was to be torn up, and replaced by Dennison Parkway, but he also documented some of the DL&W and also the NYC south side yard .

As an added benefit, the website has Sanborn maps for most of the places either the Erie or DL&W ran.
