D&H to become part of NS

CP/D&H and NS are consolidating their yards in Binghamton and Buffalo, and NS crews are qualifying on the D&H from Binghamton to Mechanicville, soon NS will begin to use their trackage rights on the D&H.
The strong rumor is NS will purchase the D&H from CP soon after that, then set their sights on GRS, if the economy keeps picking up.

If they have trackage rights and run through crews on most of the line why where there be a need to buy the D&H outright. Not much online business and the trackage rights insure that NS captures some of the bridge line traffic.
