In April 2004 "Tuch" wrote an article about the removal of electric bells from Milwaukee Road diesels to be replaced by conventional mechanical types. Aside from very occasional side mounts, photos of the SD40-2s do not show where the bells are located. Does anyone know where they went as I am detailing a model of one of these locos.
Thanks,
AW
