The British based PTG Tours group is planning a 6 day railfan tour in Estonia running from 26 June - 1 July. A major part of the tour will feature former Union Pacific C36-7 locos pulling our train. I hope as many as 5 or maybe even more locos will be used. The tour should cover all freight and passenger track that is available to us.

Currently traffic levels are very low and around 40 locos are stored in depot area at Muuga (near Tallinn), also stored are most in not all the former Conrail C-307A locos. We very much hope this tour will interest GE fans from all over the globe, hence the advance warning. A detailed plan will be on the PTG Tours site within the next few weeks. http://www.ptg.co.uk

Anyone wishing further details I will be happy to assist!

Note: The original plan of running to Viljandi has been cut short due to a nine-month track renewal project between Türi - Viljandi. We can therefore now only operate as far south as Türi!

Please post this info any other other sites we very much hope some US visitors will come and join us!
