There is a vague similarity, but it's definitely not a U50 or U50C.

The unit is question is a Lughansk (Russia) made 2TE10M locomotive owned by Kazakhstan.

The unit was sent to Erie to allow GE engineers to develop a repowering program that would see additional units repowered by Kazakh Railways.

The units origional full carbody design was modified by replacing the upper structure of the locomotive with a hood design behind the origional cab. The origional cab was retained.
