On 07/29/2008 Former MP U23B 674, mp 2256, mp 4506 Now/Was Central Michigan 8902 was scrapped. This unit was the only unit left with an EMD cab, rebuilt by MP after a wreck. It had sat in the Central Michigan's backlot for years after the plan to give it a new prime mover fell through with the purchase of LRCX 5492, now HESR 5492. She will be missed by avid CMGN fans.
