Looks like about HALF of the storage tracks ( first 5-6 from the north side of the yard ) have been ripped-up but apparantly the loop track remains in service. A large crane was positioned in the now vacant area as of last Friday.

I knew NJTransit was going to construct a pit inspection track here but I didn't realize this classic yard was going to be marred this extensively....very sad to see.
