319 was cancelled this morning, big backup on the WT branch giving delays of 10-30 mins on inbound trains. I was on the train previous, #4007, and I escaped whatever happened today. Any word on what happened?

Dunno. Some kind of equipment problem? I got off my train at 30th instead of Market East today, and there was a big line of trains on 6 track including some of those WT inbounts, behind a stopped train on the switch into Powelton. Also don't recall seeing the wire train on its usual outward run to the R5, but I may not have been paying enough attention.

According to SEPTA, something happened at Woodbourne. I missed 4007 and ended up waiting for a late 6321. It was packed. I guess the toasters got a good run today pulling 7 bombers jammed with people.

319 cancelled this morning (again) from WT to Market East. It never reached Philmont.

As per the Septa_Rail yahoo group and John Almeida:
SEPTA 319 didn't make it past Woodbourne for the second day in a row, equipment problems caused them to discharge at Woodbourne Station and return to West Trenton, 6321 and 6323 ran Track 2 to Nesh, 326 ran Track 1 to Wood

Amid these R5 Paoli delays due to SEPTA's favorite term, "AMTRAK switching problems," there is listed 580PP. Are you kidding me? A protect for the protect???

Radio chatter indicating the salt at the grade crossing is screwing with the activation systems for the gates and such.

Trains on the Warminster Branch toward Crestmont between CP-Lind or Grove South are protecting the two crossings between.

4258 getting a stop signal on 2 track - dispatcher says he sees it being displayed on his screen as good. Given rule 241 to proceed.

That's CP-Lynn (Roslyn). Took me a while to figure out where "Lind" was.

0219 became disabled on 3 track at Market East. 515 was following on 3 and had to back up to Vine and switch to 4. By the time 515 got to the station 0219 had proceeded, so I can't tell you what happened or whether 269 was in the consist (I did see some Budds). Both trains now showing 20 min late.
