But it is a restriction on NJT's equipment. Like when Amtrak borrowed a Multi-level set for the Inauguration of President Obama, They could only run 90mph south of Philly.

Thank you, Mr. Railroad Employee. The poster asked if there were any restrictions imposed by Amtrak on the PL42AC's. That is the only Amtrak imposed restriction.
No problemo, anytime you need a helping hand their buddy, anytime!! :-D

End of year, ol'pal. Niente. Glad it leaves me time to hang around and talk to my good friends, Jim.

No idea if I should post this here or the P40 thread, but whatever...

Anyone watching the ACL, expect to see 4800 make a few revenue runs. Got back to AC tonight to see 4149 off its train and 4800 in its place. No idea how long it'll be there for.

NJT has just announced that the MOM line will be the OM line that will run from Lakehurst to Red Bank. Yes that was the cause of the groans you are hearing up here.

I suggested in the MOM forum that the line be completed down to Whiting to give the old folks a chance to have an easy commute to Newark Airport or to shopping along the line.

So it looks like we have some movement up here so how about you guy's getting the SJTA and Atlantic and Burlington Counties to seriously look into continuing the line to Winslow Junction.

The train to the plane at the AC Airport or to the shopping and dropping some change at the casinos would be made easier for a large segment of the population.

thanks

No luck? Hm, usually I passed the train 4149 (now 4800) was on in the afternoon. 4628 turns for 4633 so maybe you just missed the set. Maybe they demoted it to the standby. Who knows, ill find out tomorrow.

4215, 4217, and 4219 i know for sure are in AC now after the weekend. 4217 was taken off it's train and replaced with 4800. We had it on my train last night, no idea if it's still there today.
