True, only issue these days is some crews might be out of whack now.

Btw I wanted to add-

They have the Roselle Park track assignments up already for tonight's evening rush. There are three trains, all eastbound, shown arriving on Track 2.
  • 5742 from High Bridge at 4:23 PM
  • 5444 from Raritan at 4:53 PM
  • 5448 from Raritan at 6:17 PM
Interestingly, 5746 operating between 5444 and 5448 is shown arriving on Track 1 at Roselle Park. That's interesting because 5746 meets 5439 somewhere between Roselle Park and Union, and 5439 is shown arriving Roselle Park on Track 1. Both trains are shown arriving Union on Track 1. So apparently one of those trains crosses over from 1 to 2 and back to 1 between Union and Roselle Park.

The track assignments change too. Tonight 5448 is shown arriving at Roselle Park on Track 2 one minute before 5441 arrives on Track 1. Last night it was the reverse. I did a screen capture (which I still have though the image is too hard to see to be posted) and 5441 was shown arriving Track 2 at Roselle Park one minute after 5448 arrives on Track 1.

Tonight the track assignments are reversed.

M&E trains went to Hoboken for more than forty-four years. The problem is, whether right or wrong, NJT passengers are notoriously whiny when they are diverted during disruptions even if it is for the greater good or their benefit.

It is quite easy to see the NY Raritan turns and there isn't a whole lot of time between them. As such, if they expand the scope of the one seat Raritans ( which as I previously adds to the congestion if there is a disruption,) I wonder what the deciding factor will be when it comes to terminate and turn, or operate through and shoulder the delay, which leads to initial terminal delay and possibly crew problems.

Uhh.. Srock, any details on this one?
From what I was told, 4005 was recently out-shopped from the MMC.

That's an interesting shot in more ways than one. I think the overpass in the background is the Park Drive leading to Weequahic Park in Newark. The third track in the background is the lead to the Irvington Branch, a former LV freight branch which I believe is now operated by CSAO. Busy Route 22 is just behind those trees though you wouldn't know it! :-)
