HOBOKEN, N.J. — One person has died and more than 100 people were injured in a rush-hour train crash at a New Jersey Transit station in Hoboken Thursday morning that apparently caused heavy damage and a partial roof collapse.
The commuter rail train smashed into the historic station shortly before 9 a.m., and emergency crews are at the scene, the Associated Press reports.
One person has died, officials tell CNN, and more than 100 people were injured.
All PATH service at the Hoboken station is suspended, and passengers are advised to use NJ Transit Light Rail, PATH tweeted.
