Saw in the paper this morning that County Line Rd. crossing on Raritan Valley line in Readington Twp. will be closed for work. Paper mistakenly called it a freight line. Don't all of us CNJ fans wish for that. I used to work at Mid State Lumber and we'd get cars back then. I guess they no longer get rail cars as Fisher Scientific is as far west as CRSA goes.

Fisher-Thermo is located just west of Raritan yard in the middle of Vanderveer's curve. Norfolk Southern MA-20 goes up every Thursday evening after drilling Dameo in Manville. On occasion MA-20 will go up on a Sunday to Fisher. They receive tank cars usually placarded as Haz Mat. Every siding west of Fishers is moribund ie: approaching extinction, all the way to High Bridge.
