worked fine for me. The tunnel rehab is going out for bid. Only pre-qualified contractors may bid.

Looks like this is a two-step process. Pre-qualification bids were due on 9/30. Actual bids are due on 12/1. Happy to see this finally moving forward.

Not sure what this is. Perhaps a more detailed version of the above? Seems to cover much more work than simply repairing the tunnel, e.g. rehabbing the track bed for 8000 feet west of the portal.

Worth noting that at least as of this moment, https://www.njtransit.com/procurement/calendar shows that no bids have been received for either request.

Does this really mean that NJT is now ready to tackle what I would thing would be one of the more difficult and expensive steps towards moving a bit farther west along the Lackawanna Cutoff, at least to the next planned station?
