There are quite a significant number of PA4s still on the property as work motors. Manyu of them have not yet had their side windows covered over. However all PA4s now have painted yellow ends, much like the K-cars in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

I saw at least ten PA4s today. It feels odd seing PA4s as work motors and the PA1s, PA2s, PA3s all completely gone.

Martin: 67 PA-4's have been retained by PATH for work service. A list can be found in the July 2012 Issue of the Electric Railroaders Association Bulletin.

67 of 95 cars is a whopping number - a 70% survival rate. Only the single unit World's Fair R33s (all but two of 40 put into work service) are comparable.

As I do not have access to this magazine could you list the 27 (minus 845 from 9/11) which are NOT retained?

Thanks,
