Is there any information on how far gone the fleets of R- 32's, 40M's, and 42's are?

those were gone by the end of june.

only R32's and R42's in service now. Find them on the A, C, R, and V lines.

R32: about 240 cars left on roster.
R42: about 160 cars left on roster. this class is undergoing active retirement, so catch them before they dissapear. i'd say at the rate the R160's are comming in, the R42's should be gone by new years.

This past weekend I was in the city and rode a train of R32s on the C line from 72nd St to 34th St. I'll miss the old girls!

Same here, orangeline, I managed to intentionally get some R32 C-Line trains myself, and while riding one towards 168th Street, I caught an R32 A-Line train, which is mostly ruled by the St. Louis R44. Hopefully the C-Line and A-line will trade around so that the A line can get another R32 Trainset.
