As part of MTA's celebration of the centennial of the NY subway in 2004 they are using museum cars in revenue service at times.
Saturday and Sunday, August 21 and 22, a set of four cars ran the A express schedule between 168th and Chambers Streets in Manhattan, as the C wasn't running and the A was running on the C.
R1 #100, R4's 401 and 484, and R7A #1575 made four round trips between 10 AM and 4 PM.
