-was down admiring the collection a few weeks ago. Sat down in the old D train --was all by myself on the lower level, it was a light day. Quiet. Remembering riding on such cars often as a small child with my parents or taking the IND to high school. Spent many a day with my nose pressed against the front window . Ahh....
-also enjoyed revisiting the model of the NYC Els. I recall it first from the Smithsonian, later it did a visit at the Transit Museum branch in Grand Central. Fine detailed work.
