no its still there as far as I know, actually it got turned into a double X over, before it was just a single X over allowing southbound trains to switch over to the northound track, I believe that the new switch is apart of the new South Ferry Station project

YO! Then why the hell doesn't the MTA just run normal 1 service to Rector St and relay there, rather than running the 2 and 3 local and cutting the 1 back at 14th St and all that unneccessary sh1t?

Unless that switch is in the area being worked on.

Because they're doing work in that area for the Fulton St Transit Center also and according to the MTA it would be impossible to run trains through the area of construction.
