I heard that the rebuilding of the WTC is being delayed yet again due to bickering between The Port Authority, Larry Silverstein, Governor George Pataki and Mayor Mike Bloomburg. The NY Post seems to be blaming The Governor for all the delays. My question is with the Freedom Tower constrction delayed yet again due to political bickering is the Transit Hub atleast moving forward? If so atleast theres hope of this thing opening around 2008 or 2009 like originally intended and finally something will be built there.
I would think atleast by the 10th Anniversary of 9-11 on September 11 2011 a majority of the site should be rebuilt.
