Wow, that's a lot of trains you got. And you're not the only one. I've been to NYC many many times myself and ridden on just about all those lines you mentioned, and I'll tell you the rolling stock I've ridden on.

IRT:

R26
R28
R29
R33
R36
R33WF
R36WF
KAW R62
BOM R62A
BOM R142

Models I missed:
R12, R14, R17, R21/22, R110A and KAW R142A

Now, the IND/BMT models I have ridden on.

R10 (April 1989, during its last years)
R27
R30/30A
R32
R38
Slant R40
Straight R40
R42
R44
R46
WEAM R68
KAW/UTDC R68A
R110B

Models I missed:

R1, R4, R6-3-2-1, R7-R7A, R9, R11 later turned R34, R16, and R143.

So, as you can see, the oldest revenue rolling stock I rode in was the 1949-50 R10 on the C from 81 Street till 145th ST.

I live 10 miles away from the GWB, and I'm only a 35-minute bus ride from there, or a 50-minute ride from Midtown...I'm much closer to you guys in Baw-stin 400 miles away! :P

Sorry, I'm not a big fan of Boston...Yankees Rule, nuff ced. :P

Actually, Boston is 228-232 rail miles out from GCT and Midtown Manhattan, and it's now 3.5 hours from here and there via Acela Express..

I like when people keep track of the cars they've ridden in. Back in 2000 I started keeping track of all of the NJ Transit cars I've ridden on. When I reached entry #667, I decided to stop and that was about in 2002. I kept track of many things besides the car# (even the color of the seat check the conductor puts on the seat after checking your ticket!)

Ohh.........I barely ever keep down the car number, I just get the model, that's all. Only when I have enough time or the energy is when I also get ther road number as well..

I can't tell anything from anything
(But I can mouth the words from a R142A)
