Anyone have trouble with the turnstyles at Rego Park?

I have been there a few times this year and every time I go, I end up donating money to the MTA. On New Years I donated about 7 dollars, last week, 5.

The turnstyles only remain unlocked for a second. I swipe, push forward and the turnstyle locks.
