HTS crew is towing the bomb up from Croton to POU with 111 then towing a disabled bomb south to Croton. Basically swapping a good set for a bad set.

As per Facebook's The Unofficial Metro North Railroad group CSX B749 picked up GP35R #103 from Croton East yard this afternoon bound for Oak Point yard. #103 is bound for rebuild at Brookville.

This afternoon I caught a Metro North work train sitting between Melrose and Tremont on the inbound express track, it had BL14CG #401 on the south end with Diffco Side Dump cars and a caboose on the north end. The work train was there because there was track work in the area.

There were no Amtrak trains at Mott Haven. The first train to approach the Empire after the bridge issue was brought to Spuyten Duyvil and discharged the passengers for MNR to pick up. Two subsequent Amtrak trains discharged their passengers at Croton Harmon for MNR to bring to GCT.

At most was an Amtrak train waiting at CP12 for the Empire. One at SD station and one held at Harmon.

A 4 car set of M7A's were transferred between Metro North & Long Island Railroad crews for a move to Arch Street Shops in Long Island City via Amtrak's Hell Gate Line. Metro North North Extra 102 brought the cars from Croton Yard to New Rochelle Station. After handed to the Long Island Railroad crew, the cars are towed from New Rochelle Station to Arch St Shops. All of Metro North's M7A railcar fleet will make the journey to LIC little by little to have PTC (Positive Train Control) equipment installed by Bombardier.

Pairs brought down on this move;
-MNCR 4146/4147
-MNCR 4105/4104
