New Leominster Station

Does anybody have any information on the design of the new Leominster Station? Construction is well under way....

Where is it? Does it replace an existing station, or will it be an additional stop?

It is well underway. the High level platforms are up, as is part of the low-level platform. The parking lot, however has not been started, but the level it is going to be at is complete.

The new station is located just east of the old station. It is on the other side of the bridge from the old station, and it is difficult to get close to see it without tresspassing. I think it is located on the site of the old freight station. There was a considerably large heavy duty granite foundation, a siding and platform loacated where the station is going in now. There will be an existing freight customer located right next to it.
