From a source who stopped by Hornell over the weekend, four cars are visible from outside the plant, at least one of them a cab. The rest are likely somewhere inside the building undergoing the stripdown process.

There has been little or no talk on any updates, they are going to get major component updates so probably a ways off still until we see or hear anything possibly...

They have 14 months to get the first batch completed and then I am assuming the program will ramp up. The plan was 14 months for the pilot cars and 12 months for the rest. If they are on schedule we will not see anything until late January at the soonest.

The 700, 701, and 711 are showing as bad ordered in Binghamton, NY as of Saturday. Hopefully NS didn't break them...

The trace is apparently a little confused as to where exactly the 1700 is, but we could probably assume that it is in Binghamton as well.

The 700, 701, and 711 arrived at the plant a few weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the 1700 somehow got separated from the rest, apparently got lost, and is currently in Buffalo. Hopefully it will make its way back east to Hornell quickly.

Leave it to CSX to pull that off.
