surprised a thread hadn't popped up about this. I've ridden MARC on and off since 2009 and have never seen it but it became a common sight at least on the Penn line, starting around late July. At one point I saw 2 in service on different trains. Any idea what is going on?

I've seen (and ridden) MARC using some Amtrak equipment, but never seen one using Amtrak diesels.
This started 8/1/16, when the leased AEM-7s were retired.
