Revenue steam excursions

I just would like to get an input from everyone else about a idea about running a in revenue service steam excursion once or twice a year.

i would like to see it run as the first and last cannonball if posible. if not somthing simmiler.
Botht steam locos would dubble head from Jamaica to montauk then return later that night or next moring to Jamaica/ home meusiums

i know this may sound odd or imposible but if done right there may be a chance in somthing.

You'd get the Foamer(tm) crowd. It'd be cool to see a steamer on the Babylon line, yes, some LIRR steam had ASC.

But, it's not a money maker, likely. And steam isn't cheap to run :|

But, Yeah, it could be done once the two LIRR steamers are finished.

I'd still like to see a 4 car train of MP-54s in service, but there aren't that many around that COULD be used in service. At least not on the LIRR, a few PRR types might still be intact (and hey, Septa runs 2 car trains. or, an MP-54 'Dinky' :)
