If anyone has the current roster of the Alco Work Locomotives in the fleet, or the Work Fleet Completely, cand someone post it here.

Thank You

How's that again? There are no more ALCOs on the LIRR (sniff). And any engine other then a DE or DM can be used for work train service, ie MP15ACs & SW1001s.

SW-1001's: 100, 103, 107

MP-15ac's: 150, 152, 153, 154, 157, 158, 160 through 172

102 and 104 are protection engines for the m.u.'s that operate under the East River, and thus are not used for anything else. The missing unit numbers for both types are leased to the New York and Atlantic Rwy.

Mp-15 engines 162 and 169 are dead and 158 I believe is "out of Service"

NYAR has the remaining number of MP15AC's and SW1001's which they use to do freight work on LIRR trackage. NYAR also has 4 GP38-2's, all ex-LIRR, which are used for road service. Those are engines 261, 268, 270, and 271. Additional units that the NYAR uses include GP10 #201, SW1200's #9321 and 9373 which were received from sister railroad, Louisville & Indiana.
