Earlier today i was passing by Belmont and i seemed to spot a few (2-3?) Dump cars wearing MNCW paint, and i found this interesting. Does anyone have more info on this apparent act of lending?

They were exchanged to LIRR for a long list of MOW equipment that metro north has acquired from the railroad in the past. An old Plasser metro 4x4 tamper, a couple of little giant cranes, couple of payloaders and a gradall to name a few. I believe they first arrived in december of 2019. I took some pics when they first showed up, and that's the date on the photos.
