Your dedication is unsurpassed.

The Internet is a fantastic venue for information as this. The only shortcoming is that it's not forever. Unlike a book, a copy is usually not bound and tucked away for future generations. I really hope that somewhere you have a hard copy of the thousands and thousands of documents and photos that make up trainsarefun.

If not, it's time to be thinking about perpetuating this wonderful collection and assuring its availability after we've all moved on...

Steve: Your devotion to LIRR History never fails to amaze me...Your monthly updates are always good...

One problem: You should have posted the opposite side of the Greenport Tall Ships Special Timetable showing
the actual schedule - along with just the cover page...The other information on the rest of that TT side shows LIRR
information that can be found in any Branch timetable...

Coming up in May 2024: The 50th Anniversary of the eleven form first-issues of LIRR Branch timetables -
The effective date was May 20, 1974...
For the record the LIRR issued Branch timetables for 46 years into early 2020 when the MTA discontinued
printing timetables during the C19 Pandemic - and made them available only in downloadable PDF form.
For anyone interested in the LIRR Branch timetables are informative and VERY collectible...
Over time there have been special variations such as the Mets Shea Stadium (Port Washington Branch) TT.
They have been consistently one of the best public timetable sets issued by a commuter railroad anyplace...

As some of you may know I have NO paperwork as everything is digital :-) It currently is real-time backed up in the cloud, via a service not Google, and preparations to pass the site to NRHS-LIST at a later date for its continued existence.

Thank you for your kind advice.

and here it is: http://www.trainsarefun.com/lirr/Timeta ... 042015.jpg
