Hello,

I believe I found a couple of links here a while ago, but have lost them over time.

One was a cool simulation of the UP-NW line on a map. It showed a real time simulation of train locations based on time of day, such as when and where oncoming trains would pass each other.

The other was a nice map of the UP-NW line, with every switch and interlock location on it.

If anyone has a link to these, I would really appreciate it, or any other tidbits on the UP-NW line.

Thank you.

http://www.itoworld.com/map/171#lat=40. ... 936&zoom=8 shows the Chicago-area passenger railroads.

Specialized views of OpenStreetMap emphasizing railroads of varying sorts (freight, passenger, electric, historic, etc.) are available here: http://www.itoworld.com/map/group/1

If you find something wrong, you can edit it by visiting http://openstreetmap.org/ -- and I can help you with that.
