LA Times

I find this story unbelievable. This mother is pushing her 2-year-old daughter in a stroller, sees the crossing gates coming down, and attempts to cross the tracks with the train approaching anyway; the stroller gets stuck. The mother frees the stroller, pushes the child to safety, but is killed by the train herself. Image

Such a sad story for the daughter who is now subject to life without her mom because of her stupidity. People will never learn until there isn't a way to get run over by trains (separated right of way).... =_=

Of course it doesn't, but at least it does eliminate the "mothers with strollers" category =p Obviously there'll still be some dumb teens climbing up on the overpasses and walking along tracks as their "shortcut" on their way home.... =/

Another unbelievable Metrolink death: Fitness Model and Actor Greg Plitt was killed by a Metrolink train while filming a workout video on the tracks. Unbelievable for how stupid it was; Darwin Award worthy.

Pitt has a history of this, having filmed quite a few of the workout videos, and even some sponsorship ads, on Metrolink tracks.

Was probably inevitable that he would end up as he did.
