A great resource of LA and Southern California transit!
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's Dorothy Peyton Gray Transportation Library and Archive is one of the most comprehensive transit operator-owned library resources in the United States. It is the only transportation library in Southern California and its collections and circulation rank it among the top 10 transportation libraries nationwide. The library is a member of OCLC, the largest international library services network, and honors interlibrary loan requests. OCLC Symbol = CRD.

The library is a partner of the National Transportation Library. We are working together to improve the availability of transportation-related information needed by Federal, state and local decision-makers, with timely access to information that supports transportation policy, research, operations, and technology transfer.

Much of our collection is unique and not found in any other library.
