For the past several years, San Francisco Municipal Railway has been operating a Heritage Weekend, where many historic transit vehicles, including streetcars, cable cars, trolley coaches, and buses come out for the two day festival. There are displays of the City's transit history, as well as rides on the historic vehicles.
