This is either a SW9 or a SW1200. The locomotive's battery box has been modified, removing the louvers from the end which is visible. The only external spotting difference that I know of is that the unmodified SW9 has six louvers in the battery box, and the SW1200 has five louvers there (except SW1200s built until March 1955 had six louvers). Perhaps the other side of the unit still has the original louvers in the battery box (but I wouldn't hold my breath).

That would make it an SW1200 in shortspeak. :-)
