Here's another installment of my Remarkable Engines series, this time covering UP 844. However, this is not the 844 you would usually think of, but rather the GP30 which caused the renumbering of the FEF-3 to 8444. Hope you all enjoy! :-D

It’s a GP30. It actually worked at one point in its life on the Kansas Division. I’d see it shuttling grain from Abilene back to Salina, there to be Mae up into a train to join the system.
