There has been weekend activity on the branch lately, something I've rarely observed in recent years.
Here's a four-minute video showing a move on Sunday, May 13th (Mother's Day): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byurboH-UxE&t=3s" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Also, a few photos:
1) Ascending Paris Hill's 1.8% grade, Clayville, 10:02.
2) Paris Station, Paris Hill's summit, reached at 10:14.
3) Returning light to Utica, Nos. 3040 and 2782 are pictured here nearing Stone Rd, Clayville, 12:10. The building in the background was once the "Modern Dairy Milk Station" and shipped milk from here through the 1930's via the DL&W. There was another creamery a stone's throw north of here (Newark Milk & Cream Co.); both businesses were served by a 555' siding.
