NS [N&W] historical photo

While checking on a NWA flight from MSP to BUF, I decided to plug in "NW3512" into google search just to see what would happen. About forth from the top is this website that lists a 1949 photo of N&W shopmen. This picture is labelled nw3512. By the way, where is Petersburg?

There are a couple of Petersburgs in N&W territory, but I think this one is about 30-45 minutes south of Richmond, VA.
