NS dumped numerous container cars on the ground on Sunday. Some of the cars fell down onto a station of the Port Authority light rail system missing some people waiting for the next light rail train. Port Authority light rail is ferrying passengers around the wreck area. The first container was just lifted on to a local street. There were reports of a strong odor after the wreck, but it turned out to be just Listerine. NS estimates it will take three days to get it cleaned up and back in service. The Port Authority is not sure as one of the cars fell on to a ramp used by the light rail and they have to have engineers survey for damage.
